I came into astrology as a consumer first... fascinated by it but not yet using it as a real tool. Then my mom got breast cancer… That was how I found the healing arts. It wasn't from a plan or a calling I could name, it was from crisis.

There, conjunct my MC, was the asteroid Hygiea. The goddess of preventive medicine. Health through right living, nutrition, herbs, lifestyle. Exactly what I had spent a decade doing. 🤯
I sat with that for a long time. You can't make this stuff up.
And then I kept going. An asteroid named after my mother was conjunct my Sun, in Cancer, in the eighth house – the house of transformation, death, shared resources. So much of my purpose had been catalyzed by my mother's journey with cancer, and by her eventual passing. The chart was telling my story with a specificity that stopped me. That's what asteroid signatures do. They don't generalize. They get precise.
I went on to discover specific witch wound and healer archetype asteroids in my chart that helped me to piece together the story of my life, my pain, and my soul purpose with my work… and I saw similar patterns in the charts of other healers too.
