Reflections
Centaur appears to us as our teacher. He is the great teacher of the ancient Greeks, the half human, half horse representing savagery, and the wild and primeval tribes that lived close to nature.
For the ancients, the word centaur and primitive, wild person were synonymous.
Centaurs were depicted in ancient texts such as Homer’s Iliad with the centaur Chiron who teaches Iason to be a great fighter and the art of medicine. According to these ancient Greek stories, Chiron was a teacher of righteousness and purity.
Centaur appears to us for today – the Lion’s Gate 8/8/18. What can we learn from the primitive and wild one?
In this holographic world, much like a video game, you have a certain set of rules. These rules are meant to be followed, or one risks pain, stagnation, and death. However, there are the unseen “power-ups”... ways to gain “super” powers and traverse worlds and levels that are hidden in plain sight.
These are available to us if we believe they exist. Sometimes we stumble upon them through happenstance, other times we seek them out with intention.
Our teachers are those who maintain a connection with our original interbeing-ness with Nature. They teach us how to find and use these “power-ups.”
They teach us how to navigate using our internal compass.
They teach us the ways in which we may access our greatest potential.
Use this potent time and the rest of this month to connect with the wild one within and without… go outside, find a teacher amidst the unexpected and unassuming places.
