The story of Pinocchio... and his nose. A nose that knows and grows... and grows. Long like the branch of a tree, so inviting for mama bluebird to move in with her nest and chickadees.
Nice and inviting and warm it may seem, but it’s made from an illusion, you see.
Growing bigger with each fabrication, the perception of a strong foundation...
Habitats constructed with empty promises, dishonesty and falsity impact not only you and me, but too, the naive inhabitants of this deceptive ecology.
Is your house built on lies? Pies in the sky?
Remember our dear Pinocchio, the wooden boy who wished to be real found wholeness, transformation & liberation through a journey of his own dark night of the soul...
Held captive, enslaved, and made an ass... Alas, his love for his maker and willingness to give all of his true self-led him into the depths of the cavernous whale belly, spit back out to brave the stormy sea, washed upon the shores of redemption. He found his true self.
The power of your words is to create reality - whether it is based on your truth or not. No matter how pretty and tempting it may be, the untruths will weigh you down just like the long nose of Pinocchio - he cannot avoid it or pretend it’s not there. It’s in the way of his true being.
The tale of Pinocchio is a journey of self-discovery and revelation. Transformation thru perseverance and the impeccable word.
His heart was always real, yet it bore the hardened quality of wood until he proved to himself that he deserved more. The more fully he stepped into his life path and truth, the closer he became to all that he desired. That is how to heal a hardened heart... love yourself and creation enough to brave the storm, monsters, illusions, temptations, fear of failure, overcome disbelief and embody your truth. We’re waiting patiently.
Reflections
Disney’s 1940 animated movie Pinocchio was, according to my mom, my magnificent obsession as a young child. Apparently, I watched the VHS multiple times a day when I was a toddler thru 1st grade. I haven’t thought about this film for as long as I can remember, and yet in this Akashic channeling, it was as if I was transported back into the movie itself.
The story of Pinocchio is one of the hero’s journey marked with symbolism and reflects tales from many ancient myths that share a common thread:
Be radical in your truth-telling, embody your essence unapologetically, and brave through the storms. The light awaits you, it was always yours.
While it’s never too late to unravel falsehoods, as we are doing on a massive scale in this time on Earth, you can guarantee there will be bumps along the way. This is THE time to stick to your convictions, honor your Truth, and go for your dreams, loves.
Ain’t nobody writing your story but you.
