I share bits about my own spiritual awakening process since my mom’s journey with breast cancer and ultimate passing over a decade ago. I also include some of the most supportive tools and life-enhancing resources that have assisted me in that tender, yet transformative, time. 

After the death of my mother, and eventually giving birth to my own child, I’ve come to realize how intertwined these portals truly are… Rather than static events in time, death and birth continue to open us up across time and space - a spiritual alchemical process that, if we allow it, transmutes our shadows and forges our soul into pure gold.

Ep. 244 {HOTM} Solar Eclipse Aries New Moon: Reigniting Right Relationship

 
 

Happy New Moon, fam! We’re joined by Megan Liebmann in this Healers On The Mend episode covering the significance of this solar eclipse in the sign of Aries, as well as the New Moon, in all their fiery glory.

Ep. 239 Imposter Syndrome: My Personal Journey & Favorite Resources For Working Through Shadows (Solocast)

 
 

Let’s talk about “Imposter Syndrome,” shall we? While I admittedly am not a huge fan of that term, it serves to spark recognition in others who experience a form of self-doubt that is incredibly pervasive and insidious - especially for intuitives, empaths, and healers.

As a case study, I share my personal story of navigating imposter syndrome throughout my life, how it manifested in different stages, and what it took to finally move through my biggest blocks around it and finally speak my Truth consistently and confidently. 

I cover how imposter syndrome can lead to procrastination and chronic anxiety, draining one's mental and emotional energy, the importance of building discernment of the various voices in our head, and the multidimensional roots of this common phenomenon.

I also share some of my favorite resources for navigating our shadows, including the Gene Keys & the art of contemplation for transformation - giving specific examples of working with this incredible system within my own life.

Ultimately, imposter syndrome (or phenomenon) is an invitation to engage with a profound process of personal evolution and collective healing - if we recognize it and lean in.

Kumu Ramsay Taum is founder and President of the Life Enhancement Institute of the Pacific, Cultural Sustainability Planner at PBR Hawaii & Associates, and serves as the Director and Program Coordinator of the Pacific Islands Leadership Institute (PILI) at Hawai’i Pacific University.
